A dog day swarming with bugs, / a view of mountains humid with waterdrops. / Emerald luster fresh from the rain, / cool air reaching the world of man. / Inscribed on the twentieth day of the seventh lunar month of 1832. It was extremely hot after a whole month without rain. I spread the painting and composed the poem with joy.
