Text

by Kaioku

Radiant spring decants such lush green as to brim over the riverbank; / fishermen and woodcutters on the river, / dwelling beyond the willows. / Yesterday I got some wine with credit / and boated down the Jakuya [Ch. Ruoye] Stream; / my gliding skiff reflects upon the waterway teeming with flowers.
